Partners Harry Crank & Katie Curcio began Florp Studios back in 2016 as a way to share their collaborative work. Nowadays they also share their individual works, create commissions for others, and work on large scale public artworks.

FAQs

What is a Florp? Florp is a made up word that started as an inside joke and has no true definition. Here a Florp, there a Florp, everywhere a Florp Florp.

Is everything a collaboration? No. Most of our current work is more independent, although we do still collaborate. Where we use to both draw on the same canvas and both create the narrative, nowadays we most often work together by helping the other person create their independent vision.

Which artist does what art? Harry does the digital graphics, cartoon like characters, and wood cutting, while Katie creates the realistic, expressive oil paintings.
